A day to forger. Or to never forget.

The picture you're seeing is what happened to me today, it is not an incomplete picture, it is an overheat processor problem.

Maybe Debra was a bit too hot today, I mean, I was rendering her, meanwhile that playing a bit of Starcraft, the old version, just to relax before sleep, then the computer stopped.

I tried to take some water, awaiting to it, but I came back and the CTRL+ALT+DEL didn't responded in all my tries.

I turned the computer off, and then again on and a sinister BEEP made me worried: PROCESSOR OVERHEAT DETECTED!

WTF! I knew I was rendering hot stuff, but burning my processor for it was ridiculous.

It reached 90 C and I knew that something was wrong...

After opening the computer and cleaning some dust, I turned it on and it seems to be back to normal.

After setting the smart overclock off (oh shit, it is slower!) and installing the motherboard's Ai Suite the processor temperature went back to 30 C and I will keep rendering it.

Wish me luck guys, these last renders are giving a lot of work to my poor processor, I hope it can keep it's good work for a long time.

O.O'

Edit - To solve the problem on temperature I had to cut some cores from DS. It is going even slower :(  I'm using just 75% of the processor now... these renders are going to take a lot of time...
